I have that darned arthritis really bad, my spine, neck, and hip are the worst places, knees, too. We've had a major front coming through, so all day Saturday, even while I worked to get things cooked, attended a funeral, and helped serve a dinner for the family afterward, I hurt.
I came home, put on some heat and took some Tylenol but still didn't sleep much Saturday night...Sunday, I couldn't turn my head more than about 3 or 4 inches, so I didn't go to church, and sat here, whining....
Finally the front moved through about 5:00pm last night, and the pain let up enough that I got some rest.
And, one of the wild cats decided to challenge Flash to a race across the dog pen, while I was gone, Saturday afternoon. Needless to say, the cat lost. Why, when they get to a certain age, do they feel they are 10 ft tall and bullet proof, I'll never know. When you dare an 80 pound dog, who is just looking for a chance to run and play tag, you had better be fleet of foot, and a good jumper. They have 6 acres to roam, and play, Flash has about 1/6 acre, leave him alone, it is a game to him, to play tag and win.

Sorry you have been stiff and sore, I got it this morning. Supposed to have 2 cold days and then warm up a bit into the 40s again.
Sorry about Flash. Stupid cat. I have had some who thought they could outrun things on the highway. They didn't win either.
I hope you are feeling better soon. And if heat helps, get yourself a heated mattress pad. It's much better than a heated blanket and it seems to ease the aches and restore your body a little bit. I got one for Christmas one year and I just love it. Cold fronts don't bother me anymore.
I hate it that your sore-the cold wet weather always makes it worse.
Yeah, nature is so wonderful until it's not-what's a FLASH to do...
I know all about the cold and sore and aches and pains that you experience. I think yours is worse than my own though. I am sorry about the kitty losing the race- xo Diana
