15 years ago, Liesl Bower saw her mentor shot down. Now, as she starts toward the piano to give a concert for the President and First Lady, looking out into the audience, she sees a familiar face in the 2nd row, the man killed him. As she leaves to go to her hotel, her driver tells her they are being followed. And again, a few days later, she barely escapes being snatched, why are they after her?
I love the suspense in this book, and how it keeps building. Sue Duffy makes you feel you are right there in the dark, trying to escape the danger.
I received this book to read and review, from Litfuse. No other compensation was given. I am not required to give a positive review. All opinions expressed here are my own.
