2 weeks into Recovery

I'm doing well, it is still a bit sore, but that is to be expected.
Hubby has been very good with this nursemaid  stuff, may have to milk it a bit longer, lol.
He's even admitted to our former minister that he's gotten used to the cats lol .
We've had terrible weather, ice, snow, sleet, and freezing rain, for the past week.  Mother nature is sure mixed up.  This is the south for goodness sake.  We lost at least 2 trees, both of which ended up on our roof, so we now have a large skylight in our bedroom.

One was a large hackberry tree, and it hit right at the end of the original house, that is the one that did most of the damage.
The other, a good sized cherry, hit the addition on the north end,
and as far as we know, didn't go through the roof, insurance guy and hubby were up there the next day, and found no damage other than the roof itself.

So very sorry about the storm damage. We are expecting winter weather this week.

Continued prayers for your recovery. Had to laugh that your husband says he is getting used to the cats!!!

So glad to see a post from you!

"A little bird told me" that you had a tree come down on your bedroom, and I was worried, of course.

But your recovery news is good, so that's the best.

Ice! I very much dislike ice.

Gentle hugs,
Tessa~

What a mess, Jettie. I don't like ice storms. They do so much damage. I am glad you are getting a new roof though and that the insurance company came through for you.

Sounds like recovery is going well for you. You will be chasing the old boy around with a rolling pin before you know it- xo Diana
